Alpine Slide?

Has anyone been to Ober Gatlinburg and ridden the Alpine Slide? It looks like a lot of fun, but we've never been to one before. Any hints, tips, didja like it? Just looking for some ideas, as we were thinking of visiting Ober Gatlinburg during our trip in May. Thanks!

I have been to the Alpine slide and it was pretty good. For my kids a few years ago, young teenagers, it was exciting. They are a little older now and I don't think that they would enjoy it as much. I have not been there in 3-4 years.

Ober Gatlinburg in general gets mixed reivews.
