I love the Dollywood Express. It's the attraction I remember most from when I was a kid, plus I'm a train buff.
Thunderhead and Tennessee Tornado are great.
I like the older rides as well, like Blazing Fury, the Rampage, and the Slidewinder.

I love the Dollywood Express. I am not a big fan of rollercoasters and stuff like that. I'm a little chicken.

Since I haven't been there yet I don't have any favorites, BUT I got a cool idea for one! As I plan to move to the area I thought I should get one of Dolly’s albums. I have always liked her but never bought one of her albums before, it’s really good, I‘m glad I did. Anyway one of the songs gave me an idea for an attraction. I don’t know if something like it already exists there or not.
Does Dollywood have any dark rides like the type of thing Disney has in Fantasyland and other areas? I think that Dolly’s song “Love is Like a Butterfly” could make a fantastic dark ride. One filled with huge butterflies, flowers, and small cute woodland animals dressed up in smoky mountain outfits acting out the songs lyrics. Done right I think an attraction like that could be as good if not better than any Dark ride like Peter Pan or Winnie the Pooh which Disney has. Between Dolly’s songs and smoky mountain folklore there is a very rich source for many wonderful one of a kind theme and story based attractions and shows.

David, there is not a ride like that, but there is a show called Heartsong that is kind of like that...
"n this multi-sensory film experience, Dolly Parton takes you on a breathtaking journey through the Great Smoky Mountains as she shares her story about a place very near and dear to her heart."
It's been a while since I've seen Heartsong, but I can remember butterflies flying around.
