I saw many of Dollywood shows a few weeks ago, and most of them were even better than last year. But I was a little disappointed with the James Roger show. Don't get me wrong. I like him, but he did the EXACT same show that he did last year, word for word. In my oppinion, he sould get some new material. He's been doing that same country medley for the last ten years without changing one song. Then he tells the audience how much other people love the song he wrote. Then he sings that same "eagle" song. The "Don't Worry, Be Happy" bit he has also been doing for years. I like James Rogers, and I think he is talented enough to write some new material. Other than that, I enjoyed the entertainment at Dollywood.

If anyone watches HeartSong as much as me, they will know how last season, the disrepair of the show was very notable. The film was constantly breaking, the butterflies didnt work, and Apple Jack was no longer live. This season, HeartSong has been refurbished to its original splendor with new butterflies, a live Apple Jack performance, a new digital format, and GREAT sound. It makes me happy to see this great show improved, not demolished.

I am very happy Heartsong has been revamped as well. Over the last several seasons the show was really beggining to look run down... like said, a lot of the effects had stopped working and the film was getting really jumpy and splotchy.

Does anybody remember how back in the first few seasons of Heartsong they had several live performers come out instead of just Apple Jack?
