We went to Splash Country two weeks ago and had a great time. We went around the "new" road into Splash Country and was actually on the new four lane for the first time. I think that when they get all of the roads finished it will be much better. If you get to Sevierville early you can drive straight thru.
We also drove over to Knoxville and did some shopping. Do we need to have Knoxville section on this Bulletin Board since it is in the surrounding area? Eating, lodging, UT, etc...???
The best tip I can give anyone going there is to get there early. The let you in to part of the park about 1/2 hour before opening. They allow you to go to the front part of Splash Country where you can change clothes and rent a locker. You can't get into the rest of the park until the official opening time. If you get there early you can ride all of the rides before everyone get in and it get crowded. The while everyone else is standing in line you will have ridden all of the rides and can get a bite to eat. That was our plan
