We are going in June, how are Park Tower Inn & Econolodge Riverside? I want to book something soon, but don't want to be sorry when we get there.

I also do some reservations type stuff for people, so if you let me know your exact dates in June I could be looking for some deals that might come up. For instance we stayed at the Resort at Governor's Crossing Condos a month or so ago for $88/night ($103 with taxes, yikes). We got that deal thru Hotwire. I use Priceline a lot also. If you have any questions on how to effectively use Hotwire or Priceline just send me a note.

We also like the Clarion Inn Willow River in Sevierville http://www.clarioninnwillowriver.com/. Can't be beat and they have some great deals in the winter.

One place that I think gets overlooked sometimes is the Holiday Inn in Pigeon Forge. I usually don't like Holiday Inns that much but this one is OK. They have a Waterfall in the pool and the kids love it. If you have to pay full price it is not worth it but the Entertainment Book rate is very good. http://www.entertainment.com/discount/home.shtml

Highly recommend it. Have stayed there several times and have always been pleased, plus they have just completed lots of remodeling.

If you would like something besides a hotel. Claboughs campgrouns has vacation rentals which have a bedroom and loft bedroom, fullkitchen, living room and bathroom for only 82 a night,Log cabin ones for 92. You have 2 pools, trolley picks you up there for your downtown trips or take the short drive to the parkway.

We love to stay at the Creekston Inn. It has balcony overlooking the creek that runs through town..It is aroung $55 a night, but is very nice. Across the creek is the campground they own also.

We stayed at the Econo Lodge Riverside for Thanksgiving in 2004. There are 5 of us. Our Daughters were 7,5,&5 then. They loved the pool, although be aware that the rooms are on exterior corridors and we had to walk in the cold to get to and from the pool. Nothing like wearing a coat over a wet bathing suit.

The breakfast was okay and the room was fine, but what my girls and I remember most from the trip was feeding the ducks on the river everyday. This was a big highlight for us! :D

Have fun where ever you stay.

I still always recommend Comfort Inn Apple Valley. It's barely inside the Sevierville city limits. It's just past the Alabama Grill and former Louise Mandrell Theater.

I HOPE we'll be staying there sometime this summer if my wife's graduate school classes allow it.

If you do browse the reservations online, choose "Internet User's Rate" for a small discount if you don't have some other type of discount already.
