simply put is the best KOA we have ever stayed at.

They have a huge campground with indoor and out door pools and hottubs. Kids playground, arcade, movies, all you can eat steak and breakfast meals, planned trips to area attractions, tubing right at the campground, great camp store. Life size chess set. Awesome Trout fishing in front of the campground(fee) and bus trips to the casino and shopping. How can you beat that

Are you sure you don't work for the Chrerokee KOA (haha). Sounds great!! Here is some information from their website.

Play & stay at the area's top rated resort campground!

Welcome to the Great Smoky Mountains, the enchanted homeland of the Cherokee Indians. Covering 56,000 acres known as the Qualla Boundary, the Cherokee Indian Reservation is a unique blend of natural beauty, family attractions and a rich Indian culture.

It's this diversity, both scenic and historic, that makes Cherokee an ideal place for a great vacation. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park shapes the Reservation's northern boundary and the scenic 469-mile Blue Ridge Parkway has its North Carolina entrance only a mile away. Stay one night to two weeks and enjoy all the area has to offer! As an example, check out the great 7-night super saver package. It's a great program for activities, and the camp site is included at discounted rates.

THE AREA’S "TOP RATED RV RESORT” JUST GOT BETTER

Thanks!

We have reservations for this June - we're going to stay in a Kampin Kabin right on the river... :D We can't wait!

I'd be interested in hearing if anyone else has stayed in a KK?

We LOVED our stay at the Cherokee KOA. We stayed in a 2 room Kamping Kabin right on the river.

The scenery is fabulous ... the campground is very clean and the folks are friendly. The ONLY thing I can think of to improve on things is that it would be nicer to have a bath house a little closer to the cluster of cabins on the river. While it's not MILES or anything - it's far enough to make for a miserable walk at 2am when you REALLY gotta go... :o

We had a GREAT time ... and it renewed our love of camping. So much so that we're going to be picking up a "new to us" pop up next week!

It seems once you have a pop up, you always want a pop up. We had a Jayco pop up with all the bells and whistles on it. We upgraded to a Jayco hybrid and we miss the pop up. Our pop up was certainly cheaper to pull than the hybrid.
