We went to the Aquarium, Ripley's Believe it or not, Davy Crockett Mini Golf, & Guiness Book of World Records (don't waste your money on this one). What else should we make sure to do this year?

I will think on this one for awhile and post it here. I will talk to the kids and see what they think. How old are your kids?

One thing that we do like to do is get a lunch in Gatlinburg (chicken KFC, or something) and take it to the Chimneys picnic area. There are also quiet walkways along the way that are pretty nice.

There is the loop around the back side of Gatlinburg that is pretty nice. It is a one-way road that goes by some waterfalls and cabins.

Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail (6 miles, partially paved)
A true example of wilderness and frontier life awaits visitors mere blocks away from downtown Gatlinburg on this motor trail. This 6 mile auto loop travels through time, beginning in modern Gatlinburg and moving back to early 18th century homesteads and finally regressing to primal, unspoiled nature.

We have been horseback riding and that was pretty fun.

Of course there is Cades Cove.

still thinking.... and will post more later

The Tram is pretty exciting or the Gatlinburg Space Needle http://www.gatlinburgspaceneedle.com/ As many times as I have been to Gatlinburg I have never actually been up in the Space Needle. I have been on the Tram to Ober Gatlinbug and it is OK. The other thing that I have not done is the Gatlinburg Sky Lift taken from http://www.attractions-gatlinburg.com/gatlinburg_sky_lift.html
